The incidents took place in Suffolk County on Sunday, April 16 in Nesconset and the village of the Branch in the town of Smithtown.
According to Suffolk County Police, a Regency Transportation bus was parked on Southern Boulevard in Nesconset with the driver behind the wheel on Sunday, April 16 when a rock struck and cracked the windshield at 8:30 a.m.
Less than an hour later, a Suffolk County Transportation bus was traveling northbound on Route 111 in the Village of the Branch when a rock crashed through the windshield and broke a glass partition inside the cab at 9:24 a.m., police said.
Following an investigation by Fourth Squad detectives, Edward Wisneski, of Hauppauge, was arrested at his residence on Sunday, April 23, and charged with reckless endangerment and two counts of criminal mischief, police said.
He was held overnight at the Fourth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned in Central Islip on Monday, April 24.
